Arvest Bank Offers Photos With Easter Bunny

Arvest Bank will offer photos with the Easter Bunny at the Arvest Bank branch in Yellville, Ark. located at 105 N. Panther Ave., on Friday, March 30 from 3 to 5 p.m.

Interested families should bring their own camera to take photos of their child with the Easter Bunny who will happily greet children as they arrive for photos. 

The photo session is free; however, Arvest Bank encourages a donation of five non-perishable food items or a $5 donation at the time of the photo session in support of the bank’s annual 1 Million Meals program that aims to reduce food insecurity in local communities the bank serves.

The 1 Million Meals program is a two-month campaign that challenges Arvest associates, customers and the general public to donate non-perishable food items or monetary contributions at any Arvest Bank location across the bank’s four-state footprint of Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas. The goal of the initiative is to collect the equivalent of one million meals that will be donated to local food pantries and other hunger relief organizations or programs. All donations remain local.

Arvest Bank Hires Martin as Mortgage Lender in Hot Springs

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce it has hired Racquel Martin as a mortgage lender in Hot Springs.

Martin has more than 20 years of industry experience, and worked for a title company prior to that. She will be based out of the Arvest branch located at 4570 Central Ave. 

In her new role, Martin will serve as a as a decision-making resource for customers, providing guidance to them in an effort to find solutions tailored for their unique needs, among other responsibilities. 

“Racquel has years of great experience when it comes to helping people find their home, and we are so excited to have her on the Arvest team,” said Don Gooch, community bank president for Arvest in Hot Springs. “People seem to think the mortgage process can be daunting and difficult, but we don't want that to be the case. Even before someone begins to look for a new home, Arvest wants to answer any questions that you may have.” 

Martin lives in Hot Springs, where she is a member of the Hot Springs Board of Realtors. She and her husband, Jonathan, have three children.

Arvest Bank Promotes Wright to VP

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce Deanna Wright has been promoted to vice president. 

Wright, also a client advisor for Arvest Wealth Management (AWM), is a Certified Wealth Strategist® who holds Series 7, 63, 66 and 99 securities licenses, as well as an Arkansas insurance license. She has been in the banking industry for 10 years. 

“This promotion is well-deserved,” said Steve Burkhead, an AWM regional manager. “Deanna is a valuable member of our team and views her clients’ individual situations from a comprehensive wealth perspective.” 

Wright earned degrees in business administration at Arkansas State University and Western National University. She and her husband live in Cave Springs with their two children. Wright is an active member of her community and is a member of Cross Church Pinnacle Hills.

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce Ben McLintock has authorized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards (CFP Board) to use the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and CFP® certification marks in accordance with CFP Board certification and renewal requirements. 

McLintock, a Springdale-based regional investment officer for Arvest Wealth Management, has worked at Arvest since 2014 and assists clients with growing, managing, protecting and transferring their wealth. His practice focuses on providing comprehensive wealth advising through financial and estate planning strategies. 

The CFP® marks identify those individuals who have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board, have successfully completed financial planning coursework and have passed the CFP® Certification Examination covering the following areas: the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning. CFP® professionals also agree to meet ongoing continuing education and other requirements. 

McLintock graduated with a bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University in 1999 and later earned degrees at both the University of Arkansas School of Law and the University of Alabama School of Law. He also holds the credential of a Certified Fund Raising Executive®

Arvest Bank will Celebrate Career of Weber on Feb. 1

Arvest Bank invites customers and community members alike to join in a celebration of Cindy Weber on Thursday, Feb. 1.

Weber, currently a client advisor assistant for Arvest Private Wealth Management in Fayetteville, has worked in the investment industry for 25 years. That includes all 15 years of her career at Arvest, where she also serves as a registered sales assistant. Weber will retire, effective Feb. 2.

A drop-in reception to honor Weber will be held in the conference room at the Arvest Private Banking office located at 516 E. Millsap, Suite 203, from 2-4 p.m. Refreshments will be served. 

“We could not be more thankful to Cindy for her contributions and accomplishments not just at Arvest, but in our community as well,” said Steve Burkhead, regional manager for Arvest Wealth Management. “She has been an invaluable team member for Arvest, our customers and many others whose lives she has positively impacted. We will miss her tremendously, but we know how excited she is about retirement and spending time with her family, in particular. We wish her all the best.” 

Prior to joining Arvest, Weber graduated from John Brown University and spent 10 years traveling the country as an efficiency specialist for another investment firm. 

Additionally, she is an active member of her church, where she works with her Seasoned Generation Small Group, mentors college students, and leads marriage conferences locally, nationally and internationally. Weber, who has three sons and five grandchildren, also enjoys travel and event planning.
